Services

What are the services that Art in Suburbia offers?

Art in Suburbia is multifaceted-- assisting emerging and seasoned artists gain visibility and exposure; entrepreneurs, students, and art interns learn the ins-and-outs of exhibitions (front-end and back-end); and small businesses and local landlords gain the traction and foot traffic they need to boost their presence in the community.

Here is what we have going on:

  1. Memberships for Artists – Different Tiers

    • Access to exclusive opportunities for artists to showcase their work.

    • Various membership tiers offer different levels of exposure, support, and benefits.

    • Opportunities to participate in pop-up exhibitions and art-related events.

    • Memberships are currently closed, but you can join the waitlist to be notified when they reopen.

  2. Art Direction & Exhibition Coaching (Front End)

    • Guidance on curating, designing, and executing successful art exhibitions.

    • Expert advice on creating cohesive exhibition themes and layouts that enhance the viewer experience.

    • Coaching on how to present and market your artwork to attract attention and engage audiences.

  3. Art Mentorship & Internships (Back End)

    • Mentorship for emerging artists to help them navigate the art world, from developing their craft to managing their careers.

    • Internship opportunities that provide hands-on experience in the art industry, offering valuable insight into exhibition planning, gallery management, and marketing.

    • A supportive environment that fosters growth, creativity, and industry knowledge.

  4. Partnerships with Small Businesses, Landlords, Art Galleries, and Under-Utilized Spaces for Art Exhibitions (B2B)

    • Collaboration with small businesses, landlords, art galleries, and other venues to host art exhibitions in unconventional or under-utilized spaces.

    • Curating pop-up art shows that create vibrant, creative atmospheres in local businesses and unused spaces.

    • Building partnerships that benefit both artists and businesses, driving foot traffic, brand recognition, and cultural engagement in the community.

Curatorial

I'm an artist and am interested in having my work exhibited in galleries. What is the process?

We are currently not accepting unsolicited requests for exhibitions, or open calls. Should we approach you with a proposal for a curatorial vision, it means we will leverage our networks and advocate for you to be exhibited in the appropriate gallery. However, we encourage you to join the Waitlist for updates on openings!

I am interested in having you curate an exhibition. How can we do this?

You can reach us directly by reaching out via the Partnership proposals form here.

PR + Social Media

Ok, you found me on social media or at an art event, is this legit?

Absolutely! And we have tons of testimonials that share how awesome their experience has been!

I am a journalist / podcast and would love to interview you. What is the best way to reach you?

Thank you! I appreciate a good interview. Feel free to reach me via the Media Inquiry Form here.
